Side Event of Grafima 2018 has got its trumps also on Friday, September 28.
Famous visual artist Jelena Blečić will have lecture with the topic ‘Technology Supporting Creativity’. The lecture is at 11:00 – 11.45 at the Presentation Conference hall at the Hall 4, organized by the Grafima Host, Epson Corporation.
Jelena Blečić has been actively creating since two decades. She has got behind almost 20 independent exhibitions and many performed campaigns and projects. Her work is characteristic for sincerity and joy and she attempts through her works to show the individual integrity, respect of happiness as the source of all natural stimulations, as well as the fact joy is – a serious topic.
Anyway, at Belgrade Fair Hall 4 visitors have got the opportunity to see various furniture pieces, garments, accessories and daily items made by the artist with the assistance of Epson devices.
Already at 12:00 – 12:45, also organized by Epson, "Photo Printing Workshop” is on the program and the lecturer is Milan Živković, photographer and Editor of ReFoto.
At 13:00 – 13:45, Graduate Fine Artist Danilo Mimović will feature to the visitors with the topic "Digital Technologies in the Object Graphic Shaping”

Thursday at Grafima
Professional side event program at Grafima does not lag behind on the second day of this prestigious fair event, either.
On Thursday, September 27, from 11:30 to 12:15 Grafikum company from Barajevo organizes a lecture with the topic "Kodak Flexcel NX System". The lecturer is je Kris Capiau and everything is held at the Presentation Conference Hall of the Hall 4.
Already from 12:30 to 13:30, at the same venue, Professional Printing Solutions company organizes the lecture with the topic "Innovate... or innovate!". The lecturer is Marcelo Akierman, Marketing Manager at EMEA HP Indigo & PWP.
From 13:45 - 14:30 "Remote Learning", the speaker is Ivan Pintier. The organizer is Faculty of Technical Sciences from Novi Sad.
The same Faculty is the organizer of the lecture with the topic “Everything you did not want to know about graphic design”. From 14:45 to 15:30 the lecturer is Uroš Nedeljković.
The Fair Host, Epson, has got the reserved surprise time, from 11.00 to 13:00, at the Small Conference Hall of the Hall 4.
Grafima 2018 Festively Opened
The Anniversary 40th International Fair of Graphic, Paper and Creative Industry was festively opened, under the attendance of many guests, exhibitors and visitors.
Under the slogan “More Colors“, this renowned regional fair event, connecting for many decades in the best possible way machine industry, information / communication technologies, creative/artistic graphic genres and skills and the complex intended IC and designer hardware and software with pure art, more than 80 attendees and exhibitors from about ten countries feature there. All of them offer at their stands actually representative selection of the machines, devices and equipment, but also great selection of raw and production materials or final products for various sectors of the graphic industry.
Opening the Fair festively, Mr. Duncan Ferguson, Executive Director, Professional Printing & Robotics, Epson Europe, the Host of this year’s Grafima, expressed his gratitude and pleasure because of the honor and opportunity to let Epson be present also in this way at this event.
He reminded Epson was a global company, present in the digital industry world for several decades, it started with the computer peripherals and currently it was present in several industries.
"During the last five years, we realized Balkan was the region with great potential. At this area we were present also before, through our partners and this is the opportunity to be present as Epson, directly, but also with our partners. In the meantime we doubled the number of employees in our office here, in charge for Belgrade, Serbia and the Balkans”, said he.
At the end, Mr. Ferguson expressed his pleasure that his company will be present at the same time at various places and in various ways – directly through its as premiere shown T-series of large format printers, through the products at the business partners’ stands, intended not only for printing, but also for the environmental protection, at the stand where cars are wrapped and other places having designer solutions highlighted…
The Anniversary Grafima will be marked also by the regional car wrapping competition called "Adria/Balkan Wrap Star", the new established The Used Machine Exchange, intended for entrepreneurs just starting their private job, but also the professional side event program, dominated by three thematic units – printing technology, graphic design and the advertising materials.
Already traditionally, at the same time and venue as Grafima, there is the International Information Technology and Office Equipment Fair - Biro-Expo, thematically focused on the office business (office furniture, machines and accessories, stationery, business and decoration goods, etc.)
Traditionally, Belgrade Fair Professional Jury will grant to the highest quality graphic products in various categories, i.e. product groups, already symbolical awards – the Golden, Silver and Bronze Stamp. GRAFIMA BEGINS
International Fair of Graphic, Paper and Creative Industry GRAFIMA, begins in its Anniversary 40th edition on Wednesday, September 26 and will last until Saturday, September 29 2018, at Belgrade Fair Hall 4.
This specialized fair event, held under the slogan More Colors, is the most important annual regional meeting point of professionals and an exclusive review of the global technology achievements in the graphic industry, within publishing and printed media, design, advertising, music and film industries, in the production, paper postpress and processing, but also in many other associated economic branches.
More than 80 exhibitors from about ten countries will feature to the visitors a wide range of the machines, devices and equipment for the graphic industry, plentiful range of raw materials, production materials or final products for various sectors of the graphic industry, software and ICT solutions in these fields.
The Host of this year’s Grafima is Epson Corporation, the global forerunner in innovations and production of the imaging devices, within the compact, energy efficient and precise technology, present in almost all graphic industry sections. It will present the innovations both in technological and the applicable creative aspect of this industry. Thus, Epson will present just at this year’s Grafima as a premiere, for the first time in Europe, in addition to the wide range of already existing solutions for professional printing, even four new devices from the T-series large format printers.

Within this year’s Grafima, International Fair of Graphic, Paper and Creative Industry, held on September 26 – 29, 2018 at Belgrade Fair Hall 4, Print Magazin, along with other companies from this branch, organizes Adria/Balkan Wrap Star competition, featuring the best wrap professionals from the whole region.
Car wrapping is besides the automobile – designer trend spoken very much about in recent years and it became popular all over the world. A real wrapping master can provide a car with quite new look and charm in a very short time.
Adria/Balkan Wrap Star will gather eight best competitors from the competitions held this year in the region – in Vrdnik, Sarajevo and Zagreb. The winners from these cities will participate and they will be joined by the second and third rated competitors from regional competitions.
This competition will be an excellent opportunity for the best ones in this branch to check their skills before the European Wrap Happening to be held in January 2019, in Düsseldorf, within Viscom trade show.
